Some of the Many Reasons Why Teachers and Librarians Shop at Greenwoods’ Small World:

1. The School Discount. 15% off all purchases of in-store products below $100.00 or 20% off all purchases of in-store products over $100.00. To receive the discount, the teacher must either charge their purchase to a school credit card, or have us invoice the school. If you require us to special order titles that we do not normally carry in out store the discount will be 10%.
2. Small World Social Studies & Science Curriculum Book Lists. We have created our own, unique, curriculum book lists for every grade that include the newest titles that relate to the Alberta curriculum.
3. Our Small World in a Suitcase school bookfairs. Scroll below for more info.
4. Our incredibly knowledgeable staff. Can’t find books for those reluctant readers? Can’t find enough new books to keep your voracious readers happy? We are happy to help you find answers to any questions you might have (especially about children’s art books; we really like those).

SMALL WORLD IN A SUITCASE
A high quality, no GST, no-hassle BOOK FAIR that comes directly to your school and helps build your school’s library collection!

What's in our suitcase?
-Only the best in current must-have books for kids. Our knowledgeable staff will ensure a great selection, do set-up and takedown, and provide book talks for students, parents & teachers. Laurie Greenwood may even be available to speak at your Book Fair!
-A “Donate to Your School” program to encourage family participation. We designate one table for your library’s “most-wanted books.” Parents can buy and directly donate books from that table (with book plates for dedications & tax receipts available upon request). We’ll take requests for which books you want on that table!
--Two great choices in how to redeem your library’s percentage of sales:

1. 15% of our total sales payable by cheque within 14 days
OR
2. Earn 20% of our total sales in a Book Fair credit to be used either at the Fair or at Greenwoods’ Bookshoppe at your leisure.

How can you get the suitcase to travel to your school?
-Find a date when parents will be at the school. (usually parent/student/teacher interview days and evenings)
-Provide tables and a space for us to set up (usually a gymnasium or library)
-Garner enthusiasm for the Book Fair by including it in your newsletter or having students make posters.
